The Urban Design of Hijab Street | Professional Project
As an Urban Designer at the Municipality of Tehran, specifically in Region 6, I have gained valuable professional experience in various projects. One notable project I worked on was the urban design of Hijab Street, aimed at creating the first child-friendly street in Tehran, Iran. This initiative was conducted under the global framework of Child-friendly Cities and in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

In this role, I was responsible for conducting a comprehensive literature review on the concept of child-friendly cities, studying best practices from around the world, and incorporating relevant design principles into the project. The aim was to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children within the urban fabric.

I utilized various software tools such as Maxon Cinema 4D, AutoCAD 2022, SketchUp Pro 2021, and Adobe Creative Suite 2022 to bring the design vision to life. These tools allowed me to produce detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and interactive presentations that effectively communicated the proposed design interventions.
